How a case grows with us
Five stages, from the first call to the day the next door opens. Most of the time is waiting; we make sure you never wait alone.
Step 1: The first call
Tell us in a few words what's happening. We book a consultation with the lawyer who fits your case and your language.
Step 2: The consultation
An hour with a lawyer, in person or by video. Bring any papers you have. You leave knowing your options and what each would cost.
Step 3: Agreement and gathering
If you hire us, we sign a written agreement with the fee. Then we list the documents we need and help you get them.
Step 4: Filing and waiting
We file, send you copies and track every notice. Each month we check on your case and tell you what has moved.
Step 5: Interview, hearing and what's next
We prepare you, go with you and explain the decision. Then we tell you when the next step opens.
Your part
Your part is small, and it matters
Most of the work is ours. A few things only you can do.
Keep every letter from the government, even the ones that look routine, and send us a photo the day it arrives. Tell us when you move, change jobs or plan to travel. And call before you sign anything someone else offers to fill out for you.
